I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA2S+ as I have significant training in this area as well as lived experience as part of the community. I also specialize in working with teens and young adults.
I may specialize in providing services to the LGBTQIA2S+ community but I am open, accepting, and affirmative of any identity, background, or culture. All I look for is an open mind and a willingness to grow.
I come from an eclectic approach, really looking at each person as an individual and assessing needs and styles that fit that person.
As a board certified art therapist,
I love to incorporate art-making into my therapeutic processes as much as possible.
Less clinical in nature, Soul Work takes an introspective approach and dives deep into who you are at your core. I incorporate several modalities and tools to facilitate session such as guided meditation, dreamwork, card readings, writing, and more!
As a member of the LGBTQIA2S+, I keep a finger on the pulse of the community and their needs. I volunteer services at many events within the community. I also work for a non-profit focusing on providing equal access to services for all.
I am also body-positive, sex-positive, kink friendly, and practice from a racial justice framework. When I say I focus on providing equal access to services for all, I truly mean it.
A little more about me: I'm a total nerd. I love tv, anime, movies, video games, and conventions. I have a very large board game collection (over 100 games) and love to bring them into sessions! I'd like to say I have a "mama bear" personality, but I have much more of a "cool/artsy aunt who lets you have too much ice-cream" vibe.
I would feel privileged to welcome you to my office.
